Female Human ClericYour Church (of which you are the most favoured member) – the Church of Purity, has assigned you the task of infiltrating this dungeon and destroying it, as it is the key nexus of 10 different constant ley lines and therefore contains large amounts of Goddess stolen power. There is the matter of prohecy as well. And if you prove yourself in this task, you will be granted Avatarhood and be able to lead your forces into the Final Battle. Hail the Goddess! You get to make up two backgrounds! Your real Paladin background, and whatever the false identity of this Cleric you wish to do. Paladin 101You are naturally good at all things related to crusading. You have also studied the various magics available in the Church which would help you with your task. There are things that make casting spells easier and less costly – these include using poetry, gestures, incantations and all the various things that have been come to be expected of mages and clerics, and therefore belief has built into the use of magic. You don’t want to use it too much of course, as she should not be distracted in her holy tasks by your draining of her power.
